Following on from the success of the last WIP, here is another opportunity to bring your prints along for discussion with colleagues.
The methodology set in place for 13 March will be followed which means that Members are asked to bring two prints that they consider to be “works in progress” and, in case numbers are smaller than anticipated, up to three “spares” to be used if time permits i.e. up to five altogether. The prints do not need to be mounted and can be any size up to A3.
Members who do not have a printer can send DPIs to [email protected] who will either print them, or pass them on to other members to print. Files can be Tiffs, DNG’s or Jpegs, and have enough pixels for a reasonable print on A3 paper – say 2339 x 3307 or above.
On arrival at the hall members will be asked to join others at one of the tables laid out – the prints will then be discussed and critiqued. “Spares” will be asked for if needed so that the number of prints on each table is roughly equal. Using our display stand, a spokesperson, or persons, from each table will be asked to show each of the prints on their table to all members present and provide a summary of observations and suggestions they and their fellow members have made. All other members will be able to share their thoughts and suggestions as we go along.
