Colin Ford gave a superb talk on Hungarian photography on 4 May. His previous experience as a museum curator and director gave him a unique insight into iconic black and white photographs from a previous era. There was a lively Q&A session in which he also talked about latter day and contemporary photography.

The club’s social evening and club night was held on 15 December. Four teams attempted to answer a broad range of questions (including some fiendish ones) compiled by Alan Roberts. All teams were remarkably close and it came down to a taxing piece of arithmetic to allow the ‘Snowman’ team to creep into first place.
